Order Policies, Etc.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY:

On ALL orders, 50% of the item cost is non-refundable once the order is started. This is to offset the cost of materials and the time it takes to create an item that I am unable to sell to anyone but the one who ordered it. All items are custom made for each individual, I can't sell it to anyone else. Once an item is shipped, there are NO returns or refunds. In light of this, all items fall under a limited warranty which you can read about below. I stand by my work, and I don't put out anything that I wouldn't want to show off on my own helmet and gear. Understandably, things happen, and I will always make it right, even if that means making the item again from scratch with no charge to you.

SHIPPING INFO:

All orders are shipped with a $10 flat rate. For most orders, this matches the cost to ship. For others that are too large for my usual packages, I eat the rest of the cost to ship. All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. In the chance that you've placed a large bulk order and I do not have the packaging to fit the order, then the order will be shipped via FedEx. WARRANTY:

All items are covered by a limited warranty for THREE YEARS from the shipment date. Very rarely, a rivet may not set right or may have been weak from the manufacturer and breaks. Maybe your hardware such as a trigger snap or quick release may have broken. Maybe a section of stitching is coming out for some reason. Anything that fails on an item that is not from any fault of your own will be repaired or replaced. Example 1; A rivet broke because you got hung up on something getting out of the rig or in structure falls under warranty. Example 2; You forgetting your strap, holder, or helmet outside on the rig and it got run over does not fall under warranty. I can tell the difference between nomal wear and tear and an incident like that. For most items, I'll refund the cost to ship to myself for repair. For other items, sometimes it's easier to replace the whole item. This is based on a case by case basis. If you let it get run over, I'll still repair it, but that'll be for the cost of shipping and cost of the repair.

REPAIRS:

For occurrences or damages that do not fall under the limited warranty, items may be repaired if possible. Please email me at matt@balonleathercraft.com with information on the repair needed along with images and I will provide you with a quote for the repair.
